We are all complicated in our own way and deserve the time and attention to be known. Reality based and somewhat cynical. I suck at 'dating'! I think too much + write too much (web journals). Commnication is of the utmost importance; trust & honesty tie for next. Two way streets only, respect and fair treatment is a must. I hate shopping (get in, get out!). NOT a material girl. I am a woman and prefer to be treated like one on a personal level. I'm NOT a girly-girl... not a dainty flower or the princess type... more like one of the guys minus the bodily annoyances. I don't need to be rescued from anything but myself! I am cynical in the relationship area, but will relax, open up, and trust more if the footing feels solid. You might have to drag me out to have fun (foreign concept to me), but you can bribe me with a game of darts!!

I don't think I'm any different than other people.  I think possibly I know myself better than most people know themselves, because I work hard at that.  I guess that makes me different. Therefore I know what I want and what I don't want in my life.  I'm a bit more blunt or bold - however you view it, brutally honest with myself first, and honest with others - more gently I hope.  I'll communicate my feelings (expectations, disappointments, desires, admiration, appreciation, confusion, whatever) whether asked to or not.  I believe any and all relationships should be two-way streets and should consist of equal treatment to include respect and consideration at all times.

Looking for real people. Honesty, Integrity, Longevity.... no fair-weather episodes. I don't *need* someone to make me complete. If I choose to have someone in my life, it's because I enjoy them being a part of my life. Your efforts and character will impress me more than anything money can buy. Your ability to connect, relate, and understand an overthinker a plus! My circle of friends is very small, but sure and true. Respect me and I'll respect you back. Do unto others......

Extra Credit: Of course, we all have our little things...... a large (tall. thick, sturdy) man who can make me feel small (delicate) is a bonus! A man who isn't intimidated by my assertiveness, who doesn't mistake it for aggressiveness, and can appreciate it as part of who I am. Someone who thinks I'm worth the effort because he can see what I have to bring to a relationship/friendship. Someone who can treat me like I am a very special person and meaningful to him vs. trying to buy his way out of the effort. I do find beards & moustaches very attractive if they're well kempt. Have always raised a brow to the 'bad-boy'.

I am a workaholic by choice.  If I just set and watch TV, I fall asleep. Though I really do enjoy the opportunity to lounge on the couch with my head in the laop of someone who will let me doze off!

I hangout at my desk and the TV is always on in the background.  If it made me unhappy, I would do something else! I'm game to go and do, but I don't set around waiting for invitations.

During the summer however, I do tend to hangout in my yard or at the gravel pit 'beach' behind the airport any time it's over 80 degrees! I have been known to hangout where I can play darts (the Midnight Mine), or pool, or other places I can do something.
