The Letters in Your Name...

OK! This is the practical section - where we work out how you get the numbers behind your name.

OK! So that's how we go about working out the numbers behind your name. Have a shot at it. As you probably know, there is actually quite a bit more to it than shown here - and if you'd like to go further into finding out about yourself click on this link to order your chart, or this link to go back to the HOW page.

Your Birth Number...

These numbers are pretty simple to work out:

1. Write down your birthdate, eg December 31, 1990.
2. Convert it all to figures, eg. 12/31/1990
3. Add all the figures together, eg. 1+2+3+1+1+9+9+0=26
4. Unless an 11 or 22, reduce the number to a single digit, eg. 2+6=8

For example, let me introduce you to my crew and explain the numbers...

Those people whose Birth Numbers are a "1"are usually the indepent types who test everyone (including themselves) and everything with their original ideas and outlook on life. They are into anything new, have a mind of their own and want to organize all and sundry - their way.

Those whose number is a "2" are usually the co-operative, don't enjoy being the centre of attention people who are a great in a supportive role. They pay attention to detail, will remember exactly what you said; and usually are pretty good at diplomacy.

Those whose number is a "3" They're the creative, charming, social, expressive people who usually communicate well.

Those whose number is a "4" tend to be the practical, roll your sleeves up and get stuck into it people who usually run a pretty tidy ship and follow through on whatever they start. What you see is what you get .

Those whose number is a "5" usually like their freedom - to travel, change, to be curious, and are a bit of a handful. They are the entertainers. Sunshine and laughter follow them around on good days - and suspicion, doom and gloom when they're down.

Those whose number is a "6" are the one's who are usually very conscious of family, home, responsibility and honesty and tend to be seekers of wisdom and truth. They also have a fair slab of perfectionism in them, and make everyone feel very much at home regardless.

Those with a "7" Birth Number are usually the thinkers, the quiet one's who prefer to sit back and watch. They're the analysts. They have great intuition and, when positive, lots of of self-belief.

Those with an "8" Birth Number are usually ambitious, competitive people who work towards the power, success and authority that comes through achievement. They are usually quiet, organized people who do well in a management role.

Those whose number is a "9" are the humanitarians! They are usually compassionate, idealistic, wise, and older than their years. They "automatically" understand what is being asked of them, think things through and have the word Integrity as their motto.

Your Personal Year...

Like calculating the numbers of your Birthdate, these numbers are also pretty simple to work out:

1. Write down your last birthday, eg. December 31, 1997

2. Convert it all to figures, eg. 12/31/1997

3. Add all the figures together, eg. 1+2+3+1+1+9+9+7=33

4. Unless an 11or a 22, reduce that to a single number, eg. 3+3=6

Personal years go from birthday to birthday not from January to December, and go in 9 year cycles throughout our lives - from birth to death. Once you have found out where you are in the current Personal Year Cycle then, with a knowledge of what each year entails, you can travel a lot easier through life.
